As you know London is the capital of Britain. About 8 million people live here. There is a big river in London – the Thames. There are a lot of places of interest in London. The most famous bridge is Tower Bridge. From Tower Bridge you can see the Tower of London. It is a museum now. The most famous clock is Big Ben. You can see splendid churches in the city. The oldest are Westminster Abbey and St.Paul’s Cathedral. London’s parks are really beautiful. The most beautiful - Regent’s Park. You can also visit Piccadilly Circus here. The Queen of London lives in Buckingham Palace. There is Trafalgar Square in the centre of London. This is the National Gallery. It has got a fine collection of paintings. Welcome to London!
